2 Timothy 3:16,17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the  man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

What we believe at Four Winds Church:

GOD - We believe that there is one God who exists in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

He is Sovereign and Faithful to fulfill everything is has promised in His Word.

(Genesis 1:1,23,27; 3:33; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

JESUS - We believe that Jesus is God the Son. He was born of a virgin, was wholly God and wholly man, lived a  sinless life, died in our place as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind, was buried, arose bodily from the  grave, and ascended into Heaven where He resides today. He will literally return to earth at a time of His  choosing to Judge all mankind. (Matthew 1:22,23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5; 14:10-20; Hebrews 4:14,15;  1 Corinthians 15:3,4; Romans 1:3,4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Timothy 6:14,15; Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18;  Revelation 22:12)

HOLY SPIRIT - We believe that God the Holy Spirit is active in convincing unbelievers of their need for salvation,  and is the Comforter and Guide Who lives in the heart of every believer. (2 Corinthians 3:17; John 14:16,17; 16:7-13; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12; 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; 5:18; 5:25)

LOVE- God is love. He loves us and wants for us to spend eternity with Him. He also wants for us to express His  love to others by meeting them where they are in life with the message of salvation.  (Matthew 22:37–39; John 3:16, 13:34; Luke 19:10, 23:34; 1John 2:5, 3:16, 4:16-21)

BIBLE - We believe that the Bible is the Word of God without any error in the original text, and is the sole  authority for life and faith.

(2 Timothy 1:13; 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20,21; Psalms 12:6; 119:105, 160;  Proverbs 30:5)

MAN - We believe that man is a special, unequaled creation of God, made in His image, but that through the sin of the first man, Adam, mankind fell so that all men are sinners in need of Salvation. (Genesis 1:27; Psalm  18:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; 59:1,2; Romans 3:23)

SALVATION - We believe that salvation is a gift received through repentance toward and forgiveness of God and  faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:23; 5:1; Ephesians 2:8,9; John 1:12; 14:6; Titus 3:5;  Galatians 3:26)

BAPTISM - We believe that water baptism is an act of obedience to the command of Christ and is by immersion  according to the Bible after salvation. (Matthew 3:13-16, Matthew 28:19,20; Acts 2:41; 8:36,37)

THE ETERNAL SECURITY OF THE BELIEVER- Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is  secure in that salvation for eternity. It cannot be “lost” because it is maintained by the grace and power of  God, not self-effort. (John 10:29, 2 Timothy 1:12; Hebrews 7:25; 10:10,14; I Peter 1:3-5)

CHURCH - We believe that the church is a local body of baptized believers with the Lord Jesus Christ as the Head.  Christ loves His Church and has called us to speak the truth in love about the sin, repentance,  forgiveness and redemption of  man. (Matthew 16:15-19; 18:15-20; Acts 2:41,42,47; 5:11-14; 6:3-6;  13:1-3; 14: 23,27; 15:1-30; 16:5; 20:28;  Romans 1:7; 1 Corinthians 1:2;  3:16; 5:4-5; 7:17; 9:13,14;  Ephesians 1:22,23; 2:19-22; 3:8-11, 21;  5:22-32 Philippians 1:1; Colossians 1:18 1 Timothy 3:1-15,  1 Peter 5:1-4; Revelation 2-3)

ETERNITY - We believe that those persons who die in their sins without Christ spend eternity in Hell and those  persons who die with their sins forgiven through Christ spend eternity in Heaven. (Matthew 10:28;  25:46; John 3:16-18, Romans 10:9-10: 1 Corinthians 2:7-9; 2 Corinthians 5:1; Hebrew 21:23;  Revelation 20:15)

PRAYER - We believe that each born-again believer has direct access to God through prayer. (Psalm 10:17; 65:2;  99:6; Isaiah 55:6; 58:9: Matthew 7:7; Philippians 4:6. 1 Thessalonians 5:17)

MARRIAGE - We believe that marriage is between one man and one woman. Any other unions, legal or not, are  not in keeping with Scripture and are therefore not recognized nor officiated by this local body of  believers. (Genesis 1:27,28; 2:18,24; Proverbs 5:15-19; Matthew 19:5,6; Romans 1:26,27;  1 Corinthians 7:2,39; Hebrews 13:4)

GOD AND GOVERNMENT - We believe in the separation of church and state, but not in separation of God and  government. Christians are salt and light in all areas of society and therefore should be actively involved  in the political process to choose leaders that hold to the Judaeo-Christian values that  defined the United States of America. (Matthew 5:13-16; 22:17–21; Luke 20:25; Romans 13:1–7; Titus  3:1; 1 Peter 2:13–17)

How can you help?

Because we are a new church, we need help everywhere.

What is your passion?

 What are your gifts?

How do you want to be used by God?

We believe that our Lord can give all who are willing a ministry and a

mission field.

Need the opportunity to start over?

We believe in second chances too!

Come and speak with Pastor Jeff this Sunday and let him help you.

Let's do this together!

Commonly Asked Questions.

1. Who is the pastor?

Pastor Jeff Noble has been ministering to people for 25 years. He served as a minister in the areas of Youth, Music, Education, and has been a Senior Pastor for the last 18 years in the Plymouth - Canton area. He believes the Bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God and it has the answers to living life according to God’s plan for every man, woman, and child. He is a pastor and a preacher who loves and challenges his flock and lives to serve the Lord.

2. How did the church get it's name?

It comes from Ezekiel 37:9,10

Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.

3. When do you meet?

Sundays, we have a coffee fellowship at 10:30 and service at 11:00 AM at the Marquis Theater located at 135 East Main in Northville Michigan. There is a drop-off area in front and parking is located behind the Theatre.

4. What version of the Bible do you use?

Pastor Jeff uses the NIV and the ESV but encourages people to use the version they find most appealing.

Our pastor goes to great lengths to explain the beauty and depth of God's Word. He says regularly, "Don't take

my  word  for it, read it yourself." If you won't read it, how are you supposed to know it?

5. How can I dress to come to church?

Come as you are. Jesus wouldn't mind what you wear so why should we? He just wants you to come and worship Him.

See you Sunday!

Pastor Jeff's Testimony

God Can Hit A Straight Lick With A Crooked Stick:

The Christian Testimony of Jeff Noble

I was raised in a Christian home as a Lutheran. We regularly attended church, though not every Sunday. At the age of 14 I completed my catechism classes and became a "member" of the Lutheran church. Although I believed in God (James 2:19), I had no real interest in spiritual things.

As a young person I enjoyed music. I began playing drums in a band at the age of eleven. By age sixteen I was playing in clubs and at parties on the weekends. It was during my junior year that a Christian rock band played at my high school. They invited the students to Ebenezer Baptist Church in Florence S.C.for a concert that night. Since music was such a big part of my life (and the fact that Katie L. said she would go with me) I went to see if this band was any good. Little did I know that God had something so much more important to show me.

At the close of the concert, they gave and alter call- a term I was unfamiliar with at the time since I had been raised in the Lutheran church. One thing I did know is God was speaking directly to me. All the time I had spent in church and yet I had never heard the message of Christ and how to be saved- forgiven of my sins (Romans 3:23). That night, for the first time, I realized I was a sinner, I could not save myself, and I needed Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I prayed to receive Christ that evening (Romans 10:9-10).

I wish I could tell you that my life was different from that day forward. Unfortunately, the Christian band didn't bother to tell me that as a new Christian, I needed to find a Bible believing, Bible teaching church and be discipled (something I now encourage every new believer to do). Although I knew something was different about me, I didn't know how to tell anyone. I hadn't learned the "churchy" phrases (which I am very careful not to use with a new believer) and quite frankly, no one seemed interested in my newfound salvation. I remember someone even saying that in time that "I would get over it". Eventually, I returned to my old friends and old ways.

But God did not give up on me (John 10:28). Regardless of how far I would stray, the Lord was constantly reminding me that He was still there. As I look back over my life I see time and time again how He protected me. I would later find a passage in the Bible (John 14:26) where Jesus promised His believers a Helper (the Holy Spirit) to remind them of the things He had taught.

As part of God's wonderful plan, I married my girlfriend of five years on February 28, 1987.

Shortly after our wedding, a friend invited us to church. Immediately, God began to call me back to Him. After running from the Lord for almost eight years, I recommitted my life to Jesus at the age of 27 and was baptized by immersion at Stough Memorial Baptist Church in Pineville N.C.. This time I was here to stay (1 John 1:9).

I fell in love with the Lord and served Him as a layman for four years. Although I was a "corporate man" at the time and was committed to being successful in business, God called me into the ministry in 1991. In typical fashion, I fought His will for several years but eventually surrendered to full-time service in 1993.

I may not have the "typical" pastor's testimony, but I do know the Lord changed my life and has given me a pastor's heart. I also know that by sharing my experiences, I am able to be "real" with people as I tell them of Christ. The idea of doing anything other than sharing the Gospel of Christ and ministering to those in need is unimaginable. I thank the Lord everyday for saving me and allowing me to serve Him these last 25 years.

Thanks for reading my testimony.

Praise the Name of Jesus!

How can I be saved.

1. We have all sinned by nature and by choice.

The Bible says:

Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"

2. Our sin separates us from God and condemns us to a place called Hell. But God sent His Son, Jesus, to offer forgiveness and make us pure in the eyes of God.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, let us reason together,”

says the Lord.

“Though your sins are like scarlet,

they shall be as white as snow;

though they are red as crimson,

they shall be like wool.

3. We need to repent (lit. turn away from) our sin and ask God to save us.

Romans 10:9,10 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Now pray from you heart something like this:

"Dear God, I know I am a sinner and I know I can't save myself. I turn away from my sin and turn to you by faith. I believer you died on the cross for my sins and I receive your free gift of salvation now. Thank you for saving me. I will live my life for you from now on."

Congratulations! You have now become part of the family of God. Now, you need to find a Bible believing church to help you understand your new found faith. If you can come to Four Winds, we will help you. If you live too far away, let us know and we will help you find a church in your area. May God bless you!

John 5:24 “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.
